Marea sits on the second floor of a 1924 building at Girard & Silverado, two blocks from the cove. We are La Jolla's only physician-led medical aesthetics studio with full standardized photography and continuity of provider.
A note about La Jolla
La Jolla is, in the strictest sense, a neighborhood of San Diego — but anyone who lives here knows it functions as its own village. Eighteen blocks of jacaranda-shaded streets, a working cove, and a community of long-tenured residents who tend to know each other.
That sense of place shapes how we practice. Many of our patients live within a five-block radius of the studio. Others run into us at Girard Gourmet on Saturday, or at the Athenaeum, or walking their dog along Coast Boulevard. We're not a tourist destination. We're a neighborhood practice.
The studio is a five-minute walk from the Cove, three blocks from the Children's Pool, and a block from the La Jolla Recreation Center. The flagship Girard Avenue post office is across the street.
